Two foreign nationals, 4 Kenyans arrested over string of burglaries in Kiambu

A combined team of detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Kihara Police Station officers have arrested two foreign nationals and four Kenyans over increased cases of burglary at Karuri area, Kiambu County.

The two foreign nationals, Macheme Rodgers Julius and Ukwale Ben Sirira, were nabbed first and upon interrogation led the officers to Diligent Phone Repair Shop on 1st Avenue in Eastleigh.

Detectives stormed the shop and recovered hundreds of assorted mobile phones and laptops suspected to be stolen goods.

The four Kenyans –including Peter Githinji, James Kahiga, Martin Mburu – were arrested during the raid and are being processed for arraignment.
