Two girls on school hike at Menengai Crater allegedly raped
Two teenage girls have been admitted to hospital after they were allegedly raped during a hike at the Menengai Crater in Nakuru.
Police arrested three out of the 4 suspects and are still hunting for the other one who fled the scene.
There are claims that the suspects have been involved in similar acts in the past.
A rescue team from the Kenya Red Cross alongside members of the public reportedly busted the boys in the act.
The two girls aged 15 and 16 were admitted to the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.
The three suspects spent the night at Maili Kumi Police Station in Bahati Sub County and are now awaiting arraignment in court.
Police said the medical report that will determine charges preferred against them.
