Two GSU officers injured in Salgaa accident

Two General Service Unit officers have been critically injured after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a road accident at Salgaa along the busy Nairobi – Eldoret highway.

The Thursday evening accident involved two lorries and a trailer.

According to an eye witness, the lorry carrying GSU officers heading to Nakuru was driving at a high speed and was overtaking another lorry when it hit an oncoming trailer before ramming into another lorry ferrying logs.

Two officers, who were seated at the cabin of the truck with the driver, sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital while those who sustained minor injuries were treated and discharged.
