Two killed, 19 injured in Machakos Road Accident

The accident occurred after a public service vehicle which was headed to Machakos from Kitui town collided head-on with a lorry.

Confirming the incident, Machakos County Emergency Services Officers Dr David Mwongela said four people have been discharged while 14 are still admitted at the Machakos Level 5 Hospital.

One other passenger who was critically injured in the accident was transferred to the Kenyatta National Hospital for specialised treatment.

Police have launched investigations into the incident.
