Two killed in car bomb blast in western Baghdad

At least two people were killed when a car bomb exploded in an industrial area in western Baghdad on Tuesday (February 14), police sources said.

Eight people were also wounded in the blast, which took place near car repair shops in the Bayaa district of the Iraqi capital.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. Several recent attacks in Iraq have been claimed by Islamic State militants, including a suicide bomb attack at a restaurant in eastern Mosul on Friday (February 10) that killed four people.
