Two killed in morning city accident

Two people were on Friday morning killed while five others sustained serious injuries following a road accident along the busy Langata Road.

The 4.45 am accident occurred after a vehicle rammed into the back of another one near the Carnivore Junction causing it to roll severally, killing the two on the spot.

According to Nairobi traffic Commandant, Leonard Katana, the vehicles involved in the accident were a private saloon car and a seven-seater station wagon.

The injured were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.

The traffic boss has called for caution on the roads urging people to observe the speed limits.
