Two Nigerians arrested with heroin worth Ksh 4.5M in Mombasa

Police in Mombasa have arrested two Nigerian nationals after they were found in possession of 1.5kg of heroin with an estimated street value of Ksh 4.5 million.

The anti-narcotics officers raided an upmarket apartment in Nyali, arresting the two who have been identified as James Chukwu and Patience Gageche Gold.

The suspects, who were planning to leave the country for Belgium, were found packing the drugs, which were sourced from neighbouring Tanzania.

The two will be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.
