Two perish in grisly road accident

Two people died on the spot and another one was seriously injured after they were involved in a road accident near Kivandini Market along the Matuu-Mwingi Road in Yatta, Machakos County.

The injured man was rushed to Matuu Level 4 Hospital before being transferred to Machakos Level 5 Hospital for further treatment.

Confirming the incident, Yatta OCPD Edward Kipsang said the grisly accident involved three vehicles.

Kipsang said that one of the vehicles was speeding before knocking the other two, which were parked by the roadside, killing the two people instantly.
