Two men arrested over murder of 20-year-old girl in Buruburu

Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of a 20-year-old girl in Buruburu, Nairobi.

The suspects; Dominic Okoth and Simon Gitau, were arrested in possession on two phones that were reportedly robbed from the deceased girl of the fateful night.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said the girl was found stabbed on the neck.

A forensic analysis is set to be conducted on the phones and other items found at the scene, as further investigations continue.

“DCI detectives investigating the case have launched further investigations including carrying out a Forensic Analysis of the phones and other items found at the scene of crime to establish the truth,” said the DCI.

The two suspects are set to be arraigned in court on Monday.
