Police in Mombasa on Tuesday arrested two suspects who were found in possession of counterfeit insecticides and pesticides worth Ksh.2 million.
The suspects were reportedly nabbed selling the counterfeit goods in Bondeni area following an operation by officers form the Pest Control Products Board.
The board’s coast regional manager, Stanley Nganga, confirmed the arrest saying the operation aims at flushing out such traders who sell their products through hawkers within the City Centre.
The two are set to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
