Two suspects linked to the heinous murder of a man whose body was recovered on Mai Mahiu Road, Narok County, were on Wednesday arrested by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives based at Naivasha.

The two – David Salun Nago, 29, and Saitoti Sego Ole Munak, 20 – were nabbed in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County after detectives launched an investigation into the matter.

The sleuths, acting on intelligence, raided the suspects’ houses where – upon thorough search – two bloodstained jackets were recovered and kept as exhibits awaiting DNA analysis.

The suspects are presently in lawful custody as further police action is sought.

The body of the deceased has since been identified by his family as that of their 30-year-old kin.
