Two thugs shot dead in affluent Nairobi neighbourhood

Two suspected thugs were last night killed in Kilimani area after they were found stealing from members of the public along Wood Avenue.

According to police, the two gangsters were in a gang of three that was indiscriminately robbing people in the affluent neighborhood.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Nairobi Police boss Japheth Koome said a pistol and a mobile phone that had been stolen from a victim were recovered during the midnight incident.

He added that a manhunt has been launched for one of the thugs who managed to escape.
