Two-year-old baby shot dead by police officer in Kahawa West

A two-year old baby died while being taken to hospital after he was shot by a police officer in Soweto area, Kahawa West, on Sunday evening.

Sources who spoke to Citizen Digital intimated that police officers were dispatched to the area to arrest chang’aa sellers.

A confrontation reportedly ensued during which one of the officers discharged his firearm and started shooting, thereby hitting the toddler who was playing in the vicinity.

The boy passed on while being rushed to Kiambu Level Five Hospital.
