Tyre burst kills two mechanics at garage in Machakos

Two mechanics were on Tuesday afternoon killed after a vehicle tyre burst in their garage in Mlolongo, Machakos County.

Confirming the incident, Mlolongo location Chief Peter Ndunda said the middle-aged men were welding the tyre using electricity when it exploded since it had air in it.

One of the men had his head blown out.

Bodies of the deceased have since been transferred to Shalom Mortuary.
