Uhuru dares Ruto to resign, accuses him of doublespeak

President Uhuru Kenyatta launched a scathing attack on his Deputy William Ruto saying if he has problems with the government he can resign.

Speaking on Friday, the President told off Dr. Ruto accusing him of doublespeak to divide Kenyans for selfish gains.

He said the Government’s focus is the unity and development of the country.

Kama unataka uzuri wake ukae nayo, kama unataja ubaya wake toka uwache wale wengine waendelee,” he said.

Tuheshimiane jameni.”

The President was speaking to residents of Kabete in Kiambu County when he opened the Uthiru-Muthua Health Centre and Muthua Community Water Supply Project.

The health centre is part of 24 such facilities being developed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Service in Nairobi and its satellite towns.

The Head of State rallied for the BBI Bill saying it will address decades of inequality by ensuring that all Kenyans have access to government funds.

Kuna njia ingine tutaweza kumaliza umaskini jameni? Hao watu wasitulete bwana,” he added.

President Kenyatta added: “Tuchague BBI tusije tukajilaumu…sijakuja mnishangilie nimekuja kuwaambia ukweli. Sisi tulisema haja yetu ni kazi. BBI sio ya kusaidia mtu..ni wananchi. Ni makosa tukisema vijana wapate loans. Vijana mtaani msidanganywe.”
