Uhuru has sensed defeat – ODM MPs claim

Two Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Members of Parliament now claim that the Jubilee Party has sensed defeat ahead of the August polls and that this has contributed to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s recent ‘attacks’ on the opposition.

According to Homa Bay Women Representative, Gladys Wanga, and her nominated counterpart Dr. Oburu Oginga, President Kenyatta sentiments lately are a clear indication that he has sensed defeat 26 days to the August 8 polls.

Wanga, who was speaking during a NASA’s Nyanza presidential campaign team rally in Gem Constituency, said that the President has noticed that opposition through the leadership of Raila Odinga is taking over the leadership of this country hence his high temperateness.

She pleaded with NASA supporters, especially in the Nyanza region, to stand strong behind Mr. Odinga, noting that this time he has high chances of winning the presidential elections than ever before.

On his part, Dr. Oburu, who is also the Nyanza Presidential Campaign Team Coordinator, challenged President Kenyatta to stop the anger and solicit for votes peacefully and politely without allegedly venting his anger on the opposition leader Raila Odinga and NASA.

The nominated MP also dismissed claims by the Jubilee leadership that the opposition is currently scouting for the establishment of a coalition government, noting that the opposition is ready to take over full leadership of this country.
