Uhuru issues title deeds to Nubians

President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued members of the Nubian community in Kibra with title deeds for a 288-acre piece of land.

In a statement by the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit, the President issued the titles in line with his Jubilee government plan to issue three million title deeds by the end of his first term in office.

The President had previously called off his two scheduled function in Kibra to issue the title deeds to members of the Nubian community due to differences between communities in Kibra over the issuance of the title to the Nubian community
