Uhuru, Raila cast their votes in hotly contested election

President Uhuru Kenyatta has yet again called on Kenyans to maintain peace during this voting exercise.

Speaking after casting his ballot at Mutomo Primary School in Gatundu South, Kiambu County, President Kenyatta reiterated his willingness to concede defeat if he loses in today’s polls.

President Kenyatta further challenged his main opponent, NASA presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga, and other candidates to undertake the same.

Meanwhile, Deputy President William Ruto also cast his ballot at Kosachei Primary School in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu County.

DP Ruto, who was accompanied by wife, Rachel Ruto, lauded this year’s campaigns and polls terming them as more policy based.

Elsewhere, opposition National Super Alliance Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, cast his vote at the Old Kibera Primary School in Kibra Constituency in Nairobi.

NASA presidential running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka, cast his vote at Tseikuru Primary School in Mwingi, Kitui County.

NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi cast his vote Mululu Primary School in Vihiga while his fellow co-principal Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto also voted at Chebaraa Polling Station in Chepalungu Constituency.
