Uhuru to lead Kenyans in national prayer service on Saturday

President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead the country in an inter-faith national prayer service on Saturday, October 10.

A statement from State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena said the Head of State has dedicated October 9-11 a national weekend of prayer.

“Kenyans are encouraged to pray for the country in their usual places of worship in compliance with Covid-19 containment protocols,” the statement reads.

On Saturday, the prayer service will take place at State House, Nairobi starting 10am.

The inter-faith prayer service is to be broadcast live to the entire country on all leading television, radio and digital media platforms.
