A consultative meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta, women leaders from Central Kenya and the clergy has been postponed to next week.

In a statement on Monday, State House spokesperson Kanze Dena said the postponement was occasioned by ‘unavoidable circumstances’

“Consultative meetings between His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Clergy and Women Leaders from Central Kenya scheduled for today, Monday 1st February 2021 at Sagana State Lodge have been postponed to next week due to unavoidable circumstances,” the statement read.

According to the statement, the venue for next week’s meeting will be communicated in due course.
