Uhuruto Unity Pledge

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto now say the unity of the government and the jubilee coalition will not in any way be affected by the withdrawal of the charges that the head of state was facing at the international criminal court . Appearing in public together for the first time since the prosecutor of the ICC dropped charges against Kenyatta the two leaders cast an image of unity at a time when skeptics have expressed doubts whether their unity crafted when both were named as suspects, would hold now that Kenyatta is free. The head of state also said he will not rest until his deputy is off the hook. Francis Gachuri now reports
