Veteran Comedian Mzee Ojwang Admitted To Hospital

Mzee Ojwang’ was admitted to the Loresho Hospital on Wednesday after a prolonged eye ailment.

On Tuesday, the Vitimbi crew led by Mama Kayai paid Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko a visit at his office to solicit for aid in taking Mzee Ojwang’ to hospital.

From a post on Mike Sonko’s official Facebook page, the flaboyant Nairobi Senator said: “They came bearing some very sad news that Mzee Ojwang’ was unwell with partial blindness.”

On Wednesday, The Sonko Rescue Team led by Senator Sonko and California Member of County Assembly Hashim paid Mzee Ojwang’ a visit at his Sinai home before taking him to hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Mzee Ojwang' has been suffering partial blindness which has affected his daily life. The problem is also said to have caused him a severe and recurrent headache.

He is getting specialized treatment by an ophthalmologist.
