Only 700,000 new voters had listed by the end of Saturday, six days into the month long mass registration drive.

That figure obtained by citizen television is against a weekly target of 1.4 million and perhaps part of the reason why the new Iebc commissioners called off, at the last minute, a media briefing today to report on the progress of the exercise.
