VIDEO: MCAs fight: Proposed educational requirements

Hundreds of current county legislators could be locked out of next year’s General Election, if a proposed amendment to electoral laws is passed by Parliament and assented to law by the president.

Opponents of the proposed educational ceilings argue the bill could turn county assemblies into elite clubs of scholars.
