During a recent visit to State House, Nairobi, politicians from Meru County left with the all important good news – the reclassification of Miraa as a cash crop by the government and the announcement by President Uhuru Kenyatta that farmers affected by a miraa export ban will receive support through a one billion shillings kitty.
