VIDEO: Parliamentary session turns chaotic over sugar report

A session of Parliament turned chaotic Thursday when members debated a report of the Agriculture Committee on the sugar sector crisis in Kenya.

There was drama when Mumias East MP Ben Washiali was thrown out of the House for gross misconduct and chaos descended on the floor of the House when National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi rejected an amendment by Washiali recommending that Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero bears sole responsibility for the collapse of the Mumias Sugar Company.
