Last year, the government mounted a massive crackdown on the sale and consumption of illicit brew and during that period hundreds of addicts were enrolled into rehabilitation programs as scores of illicit drinks were banned.

But barely a year later, it appears the manufacture and sale of illicit liquor is back with a bang, as Wilkister Nyabwa reports.
