VIDEO: Select committee adjourns indefinitely after MPs differ on process of selection of commissioners

The joint parliamentary select committee was this evening locked in a stalemate, over the national voter register, less than a year before the country returns to the ballot. The cord team in the committee insists on fresh voter registration, terming the current roll of voters grossly flawed. Jubilee representatives in the 14-member committee however argue that there was no sufficient time to enlist voters afresh, if the current register with 14.3m was discarded.
