Vinod Patel named new Kisumu water supply body chair

Vinod Patel, a Kisumu businessman,  has been appointed as the new chairman of the county’s water supply body.

He takes over from Israel Agina whose term expired, ending an 11-year stint at KIWASCO.

Mr Vinod has been representing the business community at the board.

During a meeting on Tuesday, Mr Vinod was unanimously proposed and elected.

Speaking to Ramogi at the KIWASCO offices in Kisumu, Vinod said his main priority will be to use his networks to seek partnership and improve services offered.

KIWASCO is the sole supplier of treated water in Kisumu City and it’s environs.
