Wa Iria urges youth to avoid politics of hate, violence

The youth have been urged to distance themselves from politics of division and violence as well as being misused by politicians ahead of the 2017 General Election.
Murang’a Governor, Mwangi Wa Iria, called upon the youth not to allow politicians to use them as tools of violence to disrupt peace and cause chaos in the country.
Wa Iria further implored the youth to be responsible as we head to campaigns period and not to get swayed by the tides of politics noting that they are opinion shapers, thus should be treated with respect.
Wa Iria was speaking during a boda boda operator’s forum in Kahuro area, Kiharu Constituency, where he issued more than 1,200 operator licenses them after successfully completing a training course sponsored by his county government.
The Murang’a Governor said it was time for the boda boda sector to take its place as one of the biggest contributors to the economy through provision of transport services to both human beings and cargo.
