Wambora, A Day After Impeachment

The County Assembly of Embu has forwarded its resolution to impeach Governor Martin Wambora to the senate. While confirming receipt of the resolution Senate Speaker Ekwe Ethuro said the senate will soon convene a special sitting where the senate will debate on the resolution emanating from yesterday's motion of impeachment against Wambora. A petition by Wambora seeking to block the resolution from being presented to the senate was denied by the High Court.
