Watchman Seriously Injured By Thugs.

The man, a watchman was attacked by a gang of 5 robbers before they broke into a hardware in Embu town

The watchman is being treated at Embu Level 5 Hospital.

The watchman was found in the morning while lying unconscious

It was then that the police were alerted and the victim rushed to the Hospital

An eye witness said a gang of five attacked the watchman with a panga before gaining access to the hardware.

He added that the gang tried to smash the watchman's head when a vehicle light distracted them and left in a hurry.

Residents of the town are now appealing to the police to intensify patrols to boost security in the town

Area OCPD Elphis Korir has asked residents to volunteer information that may lead to the arrest of the culprits
