We don’t support CORD or Jubilee – Ababu

Labour Party leader Ababu Namwamba has dismissed speculations that the party has taken sides ahead of the 2017 General Election.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Namwamba said the party has not decided whether to support CORD or Jubilee in the upcoming General Election, adding that the party is independent.

Speaking at Osieko Beach in his Budalangi Constituency during the Isambo Beach Party, the legislator said that the party and would enter into partnership with a coalition that will prove it is ready to work for the benefit of all Kenyans.

The party leader accused the current major political coalitions of engaging in debates over issues that only serve their selfish interests at the expense of the people of Kenya.

He accused the Jubilee Party of impunity and arrogance, saying that they will not allow them to take Kenyans down the drain.

On the other hand, he accused opposition coalition CORD of practicing anarchy and hooliganism, adding that the coalition cannot engage in constructive dialogue but resorts to fighting and abusing their opponents.

He promised that his party will not engage in those vices, adding that they will soon embark on a nationwide campaign to popularize their agenda.
