We have done very well in jobs creation – DP William Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has remained adamant that the Jubilee Administration is on the right track in matters job creation saying that the government has for the last four years invested heavily on infrastructure as it is the backbone of job creation in any given country.

Speaking during the Labour Celebrations at the Nairobi’s Uhuru Park, the Deputy President lauded milestone projects spearheaded by Jubilee Government insisting that they will boost Kenya’s economy once they are fully in place.

“If we invest on industries, we will create more jobs for the youth. We have tried in building the SGR, tarmac roads, ‘Stima Mashinani’ as well as building Technical Training Institutes in every constituency, all this will spin our economy in due time,” said Ruto.

In what was seen as Ruto taking a swipe at the opposition coalition – NASA leaders, he tactically laughed-off their power sharing plans of introducing the Premiere and Deputy Premier Cabinet Secretaries positions, saying that the five co-principals are only led by greed for power and not to serve Kenyans.

“Power is not for the sharing of elite but empowering Kenyans. Kenyans must distinguish who stands for what.”
