National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has claimed there is a choreographed scheme by CORD leader Raila Odinga to disrupt the operations of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Speaking at a Jubilee rally in Tononoka grounds, Mombasa, Duale said that Raila’s intention is to bring disharmony in the electoral agency by discrediting their activities and propagating claims that IEBC and Jubilee are out to rig the election.

“Raila’s plan is to distablise IEBC so that he can cause chaos and force his inclusion into the government under a Grand Coalition deal. We would like to tell him that his plans will not succeed,” Duale said.

The CORD leader has on several instances refuted claims that he is gearing for a coalition government with Jubilee instead saying his intention is to take over the leadership of the country.

Raila said that as a coalition, CORD is well placed to defeat Jubilee in the 2017 General Election and form the next government.
