We will not allow RIGGING OF 2017 polls – Raila

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader, Raila Odinga, says that the opposition will not allow rigging of elections in the 2017 to happen.

While appearing on an interview on Citizen TV Thursday, December 22 evening, Odinga said that the Jubilee administration, under President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, have put in place measures to steal the August 8, 2017 vote saying the opposition will not allow it to happen.

“All indications are that Jubilee is planning to rig the elections, we will not allow this to happen,” said Odinga.

“We have agreed that we are not going to tell our supporters again that the elections were rigged, we have to stop the rigging from the onset.”

The former Prime Minister further rubbished the proposed voter register audit by KPMG saying that it was a ploy by Jubilee to manipulate the elections.

He said that the voter register audit should only take place once a substantive Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is in place.
