We will stick together for better, for worse Opposition

The Opposition National Supper Alliance (NASA) has reiterated its commitment to stick together even after the selection of the coalition’s presidential flag bearer.

The leaders, Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi say their unity is the only way they can defeat Jubilee come August 8.

Speaking during the burial of the mother to Vihiga Senator, George Khaniri, the NASA leaders pledged to remain united and support whoever will be chosen to be the alliance’s flag bearer.

At the same time, Odinga accused the Jubilee administration of mismanaging the public resources.

He associated the ballooning public wage bill to rampant corruption in the Jubilee government saying that is enough reason to remove Jubilee from power.

On his part, ANC’s party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, said that the budget estimates has dampened the country’s economic outlook and if not well managed may hinder the country from achieving its development objectives.

Mudavadi further accused those who have not registered as voters as being Jubilee sympathizers, urging the residents to come out in large numbers and register as voters.

Wetangula on his part, urged the residents not to just register but also come out on August 8 to vote out the Jubilee government.

Other leaders present were, Senators James Orengo, Anyang’ Nyong’o, Amos Wako and Bonny Khalwale, with Khalwale proposing Wetangula be named the flag bearer of NASA.

Elsewhere, UDM Presidential candidate, Philip Murgor was in Naiorbi’s Dandora estate where he criticized Jubilee’s development record.
