We wont back you till you dissolve Narc-Kenya, Jubilee official tells Karua

Narc-Kenya party leader Marth Karua received a major political blow in her race for Kirinyaga’s gubernatorial seat after Jubilee Party declared she will not be involved in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidential campaign unless she folds up her party.

According to Kirinyaga County Jubilee Party presidential campaign coordinator Njogu Barua, Martha Karua has no option but to join Jubilee Party.

Speaking to Citizen Reporters, after a meeting with elected Members of County Assembly (MCAs) from Kirinyaga County, Barua termed Narc-Kenya as a Jubilee Party competitor, arguing that its leader has not equivocally declared her support to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.

The Gichugu MP declared that only those parties within Jubilee Party will be involved in the campaign and declared that Jubilee Party will treat Narc-Kenya like any other opposition party competing with JP.

Speaking after he met MCAs from the county, Barua pointed out that Karua is on the record saying that she’s being forced by the residents to support Uhuru Kenyatta.

He further stated that the Jubilee Party will only work with individuals who are ready to support the party and respect its ideals.

He said that the secretariat will be composed of aspirant’s representative, elected leaders’ representatives and party officials’ representative saying that all campaign materials will be equally shared by all leaders.

The Gichugu MP said that campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta will commence from Next month after he set out the secretariat direct from ward level to the county.
