Webuye tanker explosion kills two
Two people have been confirmed dead after a tanker transporting sulfuric acid exploded at the Kaburengo interchange on the Eldoret-Webuye highway.
According to Fred Majiwa of St John’s Ambulance, the Monday evening incident claimed the life of the driver and his turn-boy who were burnt beyond recognition.
The incident now brings the number of people who have died at the black-spot since December to 16.
Motorists have now been urged to exercise caution to avert more accidents and prevent the rising road carnage.
