We’ll prosecute you, Uhuru warns rogue police officers

President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to crack the whip on police officers who are colluding with criminals in Kisumu County.

Speaking as he visited the county for the 2015 Schools and Colleges Music Festivals, Uhuru said that his government would not tolerate rogue officers.

The President ordered for investigations into the alleged collusion adding that his government will prosecute those who will be found guilty.

He promised that the state would handle the insecurity issues in the county so that the residents can continue to build the nation.

Uhuru added that his government was prepared to reshuffle police officers and their seniors to bolster security in the region.

His remarks follow numerous complaints by residents about the state of security in the County.
