Wetangula Threatens To Sue National Carrier KQ

Wetangula says he was ejected from an 8:40pm KQ flight after a confrontation with the airline staff who had demanded his national identity card which he did not have on him at the time.

Speaking in Mombasa, the CORD coalition leader said he was humiliated by KQ staff despite producing his KQ platinum travel card, parliamentary card and other proofs of identity.

Nyeri Senator Mutahi Kagwe and his Mandera colleague Billow Kerrow have accused the airline staff of ignoring assurances by other senators that they could identify him and want KQ to apologize to Wetangula and the senate over the incident.
