Wetangula wants referendum to create positions for poll losers
Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has said there is need for a constitutional referendum to create more positions to accommodate disgruntled leaders after elections.
Wetangula said the current system where the winner takes it all was setting a bad precedence for the country.
Speaking after paying courtesy call to Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony at his residence, The Bugoma Senator said the constitution should be more accommodative.
According to him, fights being witnessed after every electioneering period will be resolved by amending the constitution.
He at the same time asked Kenyans to join hands in condemning the acts of corruption, tribalism and theft of public resources.
Wetangula said the vices have hampered development of the country and should be fought by all means.
