Who did an excellent job in 2020? Healthcare workers ranked top, President Kenyatta third

Healthcare workers have been rated highly for working on the frontline in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

A survey finding by Infotrak Research involving 800 respondents drawn from 24 counties ranked healthcare workers and the media as excellent performers in 2020.

Health workers emerged top with 70%, the media garnered 60% coming second, President Uhuru Kenyatta was ranked third best performer with 46% with the church taking the fourth place with 45%.

The survey conducted between December 27-29, 2020 further reveals that majority of Kenyans felt that the police, the National Assembly, the Senate and county governments performed dismally with 45%, 39%, 35% and 31% scores respectively.

65% percent of the respondents feel that the government did not do a good job of running the economy last year, 42% are confident about a turnaround of the economy in 2021 with 47% of Kenyans terming government handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as average.
