WHO Says Ebola Infections Slowing in Liberia

An official of WHO Bruce Aylward says he is confident that the response to the virus was now gaining the upper hand.

He however warned against any suggestion that the crisis was over.

WHO says the number of cases reported globally had risen to 13,703.

The number of those who have died from Ebola is now 4,920 roughly the same as the last report four days ago.

All but 10 of the deaths have been in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
