Wiper Party Cracks Whip On Members

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has announced the expulsion of the two county leaders saying the decision is aimed at restoring discipline in the party.

Speaking during Wiper's National Executive Council meeting, Musyoka also put on notice other errant members, warning them of a similar fate if they fail to toe the party line.

There has been a simmering row within wiper, especially among Makueni and Machakos county leaders, with some members calling on the party to crack the whip on errant members.

This came after the party held a Parliamentary Group meeting to try and address issues within the party and deal with rebel members of the party.

The meeting was also meant to reconcile warring groups particularly the Makueni County leadership.
