Wiper rules out joint nominations with NASA partners

Wiper Democratic Party now says it will not conduct joint nomination exercises with its National Super Alliance (NASA) counterparts ahead of the August General Election.

Speaking to the media in Mombasa, Wiper Secretary General, Hassan Omar, says the party headed by Kalonzo Musyoka has never made an agreement with ODM, ANC and Ford Kenya over conducting joint nominations under NASA.

Omar has, however, announced that the party has extended its registration deadline to next week Saturday to allow more people showing interest in the opposition party to register as members.

The Mombasa Senator has at the same time demanded that IEBC headed by Wafula Chebukati responds to a letter by NASA on its preparations for the coming polls, especially use of technology.
