Woman and her three children who died in Kajiado fire tragedy laid to rest

Four members of one family who perished when their house caught fire in Mashuru, Kajiado County, early this month have finally been laid to rest.

The mother, her three children and a house help were buried on Tuesday after the results of DNA came out.

During the emotional sendoff of the four family members, mourners called on the police to investigate the cause of the inferno.

The house-help, only identified as Alice, was buried at her home in Kitui County.

The burial of the five was delayed due to the autopsy and DNA results.

Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko said; “Uchunguzi ifanyike kwa njia ya uzito, ndio ijulikane kwa hakika the cause of the fire, tusiache hii familia kama wameumia na hakuna njia ya kuoata usaidizi au haki yao.”
