Woman in court to stop burial of ex-MP Mark Too

A woman has moved to court seeking to halt the burial of veteran politician Mark Too.

The woman, Fatuma Ramadhan Hassan, wants the burial of Mr Too stopped until a son she argues they sired with him is incorporated in the burial plans.

Ms Fatuma wants her son, who is 17 years, recognized as a member of the family and be considered in the burial plans fully.

She argues that they have been left in the dark and are only learning of the burial plans in the media.

Justice Aggrey Muchelule certified the matter as urgent and set the hearing for Friday, January 6.

Mr Too died on Sunday, January 1 while undergoing treatment at St Lukes Hospital in Eldoret.
