Woman poisons 3 children, commits suicide in Kericho

A woman on Monday killed her three children before committing suicide at Lami Juu area in Sosiot, Kericho County.

Confirming the incident, Belgut OCPD Philip Okello said preliminary investigations suggested that the woman poisoned the kids before taking the same poison, adding that the motive is still unclear.

Bodies of the four were discovered by neighbours who realised that they had taken too long to wake up.

The bodies have since been transferred to the mortuary.
