Woman seeking Ksh.69,000 child support from husband who left her for househelp
A woman has moved to court seeking orders to compel her estranged husband, who allegedly left her for their househelp, to return their two children to her and pay her child support amounting to Ksh.69,000.
The woman, a Rwandese national, claimed her husband abandoned their Kahawa Sukari matrimonial home and moved to Karen with the said help and their kids.
According to court papers seen by Citizen Digital, she sought to be allowed to take back the minors saying she has unsuccessfully tried to reach the man in person and through his family members.
She further alleged that the househelp is now posing as the mother of the children hence aggravating “psychological injury” towards them.
The woman is further seeking Ksh.69,000 from the man for the provision of shelter, food, and clothing of the children adding that he earns at least USD.300,000 (over Ksh.32 million).
